Yes! A jury comprising international film professionals will be awarding prizes in various categories. Each prize will include a cash award!
We are currently looking for students to join the class of 2018/2019. You must be based in or near Kabale, as the training occurs on a weekly basis. If you’re interested, please contact us with your name, age, background and reasons for wanting to join the program.

Reel Impact Foundation and United in Film started working in Kabale, Uganda in 2017, and we realized that there wasn’t really any place locally for the students in their programs to professionally show their work. After much research, we found that there wasn’t really an African film festival in Africa. Rather, there were many in the diaspora. From this we decided to create the African Film Festival!
Yes! We have many sponsorship opportunities, from pre-film posters and commercials, to VIP tickets and individual film sponsorship opportunities. This is a great opportunity to advertise to an audience of local, national and international guests. Each screening is expected to have 1,000 attendees.
